ONBOARDING PROTOCOL // 01–06
How to Join PRİMEORDİAL
Follow these verified, platform-accurate steps for ARK: Survival Evolved to enter our worlds cleanly.
- STEP 01
Own ARK: Survival Evolved
PRİMEORDİAL operates on ARK: Survival Evolved (ASE) dedicated server infrastructure. Ensure the free expansion map DLCs (Ragnarok, Fjordur, Valguero) are claimed and installed in your library.
- STEP 02
Verify Platform & Client Version
Confirm your game client is fully updated. Steam and Epic Games clients behave differently: Steam supports Workshop mods and the Steam Server Browser, whereas Epic Games supports unmodded Crossplay servers only.
- STEP 03
Locate the Server In-Game or via Steam
Launch ARK, click 'Join ARK', set 'Session Filter' (bottom-left) to 'Unofficial', and search 'PRIMEORDIAL'. Steam players can also add a published Query IP:Port in Steam -> View -> Game Servers -> Favorites.
- STEP 04
Connect Using a Supported Method
Select your target world and click 'Join'. Direct Connect links are enabled on server cards only after live host reachability and client protocol compatibility are verified.
- STEP 05
Review Rules & Mod Requirements
Read our obelisk exclusion rules, tribe limits, and fair-play code before placing foundations. If joining a modded Steam node, allow Workshop downloads to finish before reconnecting.
- STEP 06
Join the Community Hub
Register your PRİMEORDİAL web account and join our community channels for event schedules, patch alerts, and administrative support.
Platform Connection Differences
Steam Client
- Full access to the in-game Unofficial server list.
- Supports adding servers via UDP Query Port (default 27015) in Steam -> View -> Game Servers -> Favorites.
- Automatically downloads and manages Steam Workshop mods.
Epic Games Client
- Steam Server Browser and steam://connect URLs DO NOT work with Epic Games installations.
- Must connect exclusively via the in-game 'Join ARK -> Unofficial' browser search.
- Does not support Steam Workshop mods; compatible only with unmodded Crossplay-enabled nodes.
